What are the ISU-Dances?

Formerly known as the Compulsory Dances by competitive skaters, these dances (e.g. Dutch Waltz, Foxtrott,...) are also danced by recreational dancers.

http://www.iceskatingresources.org/CompulsoryDancePatterns.html lists the dance patterns and steps of these compulsory dances.

They are skated on the hockey field and they have a set pattern. Normally you dance the dances with the same partner.
Due to the eleborate pattern only certain elements can  be integrated in the round dance.
